D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel, is a knife-maker favorite and offers good edge retention and hardness, as well as being more corrosion resistant than other high-carbon steels. As to this knife, the D2 is intensively processed by RUIKE using quenching and cryogenic treatment, which features an ideal hardness of 60~61 HRC.G10 Knife Handle
